Aurora Self Catering & grounds is strictly a non smoking establishment, in line with legislation and for the comfort of our guests.

Check in time from 3pm on day of arrival. All rooms must be vacated by 10am on day of departure.

Luggage can be left securely.

A valid credit card is required to secure all bookings. No funds will be taken at this time. However, in the event of cancellation within 7 days prior to the booking payment will be taken equivalent to the first night’s accommodation.  Where a ‘No Show’ situation occurs, the full cost of the reservation will be charged.

Please note that under Scottish law, reservations are legally binding.

Intending Guests are advised to have travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances, in particular adverse weather which can seriously disrupt ferry and flight schedules in and out of Orkney.

All major debit / credit cards accepted.  3% Surcharge for all business credit / prepaid cards
